ValueOne is looking for a Production Engineer for a consulting assignment with one of our clients in the manufacturing industry in Ovanåker municipality. The assignment starts by agreement and lasts for 6 months, with the possibility of transitioning to employment with the client.

We offer our clients services in three business areas: rental of purchasing and logistics consultants, recruitment of purchasers and logisticians, and Management Consulting where ValueOne develops our clients' purchasing, logistics, and supply chain regarding strategy, model, method, process, organization, and competence time.

About the role

As a production engineer, you play a central role in developing automation solutions that increase efficiency and flexibility in production. You act as a technical advisor for colleagues and suppliers and are responsible for investments in new machinery.

• Conduct production technical analyses, such as calculations, time studies, and capacity calculations.
• Develop automation solutions within robotics and vision systems.
• Be responsible for project management regarding machine investments, from the initial phase to the equipment being fully operational.
• Provide technical support to the team and be the technical contact person for suppliers.
• Contribute to improvement work within automation, flexibility, and efficiency.

Experience and competence

We are looking for someone with experience in production engineering and documented competence in industrial automation, as well as experience in machine investments. You have a good understanding of calculations and have previously conducted various types of time studies. It is advantageous if you have a relevant technical education and knowledge of PLC programming, electrical engineering, 3D-CAD, or LEAN methodologies.

As a person, you are analytical, structured, and curious. You find it easy to collaborate with colleagues and are motivated to drive improvements that make a difference.
